Better sleep is possible, no matter what kind of challenges you're facing. Whether you’re dealing with a long-term sleep disorder like insomnia or struggling with occasional disruptions, I’m here to help. I take a science-based approach to understanding how sleep works and create strategies tailored to your unique needs and challenges. If you’ve been relying on sleep aids for years or just feel stuck in unhelpful sleep habits, we can work together to build healthier, more sustainable patterns. My goal is to make the science of sleep easy to understand and apply, so you can get the rest you need to thrive. You don’t have to navigate sleep struggles alone—lasting change is within reach.

A thorough sleep evaluation to better understand factors that may be contributing to your sleep problems and the appropriate treatment plan for you.
Newborn & Infant Sleep
CUSTOMIZED SESSION (30 — 60 minutes)

“I am deeply and extremely grateful to have found my sleep therapist. Before meeting Shantha, I struggled with sleep, even with medication, but now I am able to sleep for a full 8 hours without any medication. She is not only super competent but also extremely efficient, ensuring that no time is wasted during our sessions. Her approach includes providing thorough sleep education and effective strategies that have significantly improved my sleep. On top of all these professional qualities, she is genuinely pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend her services to anyone facing sleep challenges.”
“I had insomnia and was barely getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night with medication. I started seeing Dr. Gowda for CBT-I. Within two weeks, I was getting 6 hours of sleep a night without medication. After five weeks, my insomnia was resolved and now I can fall asleep naturally. Dr Gowda is very caring and was instrumental in assessing what was causing my insomnia. She did a thorough evaluation and gave me the skills and strategies to resolve my insomnia for life. I am grateful to God for helping me in my search that lead me to Dr. Gowda. And I am grateful to Dr. Gowda for her immense knowledge in pinpointing the cause of my insomnia and getting it resolved quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Gowda to get your sleep back naturally.”
“I had some of the deepest, most rejuvenating, BEST sleep of my life after just three hours of learning with Dr. Gowda. She gave a talk to a group of professionals in my industry (chronically sleep deprived, as so many are) and after just five minutes we were all excitedly perched on the edge of our seats. She shared so much incredible information on sleep - all of it based in complex science and research while remaining approachable and implementable. I can't recommend working with or learning from Dr. Gowda enough, it's been a few weeks and I am already living a life of better sleep and more fulfilling and productive wakefulness.”

BSM is safe, effective, and often used in conjunction with sleep aids. In fact, BSM can be extremely advantageous for those interested in tapering or discontinuing their sleep aids with guidance from their prescribing provider.
